Hi, I’m Dita – a surface pattern designer inspired by nature, culture, and the art of everyday beauty. Originally from Indonesia and now living in the Netherlands, I create AI-free patterns that blend my Eastern heritage with a modern Western touch. The result? Designs that feel both grounded and fresh, organic yet contemporary.

Every pattern I create is a reflection of my personal story rooted in rich cultural traditions, shaped by motherhood, and sparked by the natural world around me. I believe in the quiet power of patterns to bring joy, calm, and personality to the spaces and products we love.

My journey into design began with a love for color, texture, and storytelling. It all started back when I was studying architecture—where I first discovered how powerful design can be in shaping how we live and feel.

After my husband and I were blessed with two awesome sons, I realized I didn’t want a traditional full-time job. I wanted to be present for my family while still doing something that fuels my creativity. And that’s when the real journey began.
