Art licensing is essentially where you ‘rent’ artwork from an artist or designer. In my case, Art licensing is the process of “renting” artwork from an artist or designer.
As the licensee, you pay a fee to the licensor (the artist) for the right to use the artwork under clearly defined terms such as duration, territory, and permitted applications so you can confidently incorporate the design into your products or projects. You may license my design(s) non-exclusively or exclusively (more on these options below).

You can find my portfolio at Patterned.com, Spoonflower, Behance, REDBUBBLE, Etsy, Creativepool, And every design can be licensed non-exclusively.
My Spoonflower and REDBUBBLE store will also give you a good idea of the work I produce and can produce for your exclusive designs. Get in touch via my email and we can chat more about your project.

A non-exclusive license is where you choose any existing design of mine to be manufactured by the printer of your choice, and sold as finished goods in one category.
The design may also be licensed non-exclusively to other companies at the same time and will remain for sale on sites such as Spoonflower, where other people may purchase the design printed on fabric, wallpaper, and other products.
Note: You do not need a license to sell finished goods you have made with fabric purchased from Spoonflower or any of my other retailers.
-
Usage terms for an exclusive license are negotiated and agreed upon by all parties before any design work commences.
As the designer, I retain the right to use the design during the licensing period for any other purpose not specified in the licensing agreement; for example, if you have exclusively licensed a design for children’s wear, then I may also license the design within a different category such as Wallpaper or Home Decor.
At the end of the term, you will have the first opportunity to renew the design. If you decide not to re-license, then the rights to the design revert back to me.
-
As the designer, I retain all copyright and ownership of the artwork and all derivative works at all times.
At this point in time I do not offer buy-outs.

Pricing is bespoke — I take many things into consideration when I am pricing for your project.
If you’d like to submit a licensing enquiry, then I’ll have the details I need to provide you with a quote for your project.
-
Most of my designs are seamless, making them perfect for repeating patterns and creative projects.
If a design isn’t seamless, don’t worry—I’ll always make sure to mention it clearly in the description.
